Manchester National Trust Volunteers

Sarah Witts is the new Head Gardener at Quarry Bank Mill, Styal and she is looking forward to meeting us on our workday on Sunday.

 

We will be clearing overgrown weeds and brambles so if you could wear long-sleeved tops and trousers rather than shorts, to prevent getting stung/scratched, that would be good. Obviously sturdy shoes or boots are needed and, if you have your own workgloves, bring them along, but we do have spare although these tend to be large.

 

 

Please let me know if you are able to come so I can be sure of collecting enough tools for everyone from the tool store. We will meet in the main carpark at 9.30am!
