Erddig Hall and Park

Erddig lies to the South of Wrexham and was home to the Yorke family when it was handed over to the National Trust in 1973. It's a lovely site in the rolling hills of Wales

We have done all sorts of work here, removing horse carriage racing obstacles, clearing vegetation.  The Site is fairly flat with a river running through it.   We often meet up with the Mersey NT Volunteer group

Location:

Wrexham, LL13 0YT 

We often Park just inside the Entrance on the left is a volunteer’s carpark. Or we might drive on to the main carpark.

 If you get asked for membership card, show either membership or Volunteer card – or just say your volunteering.

Public Transport:

There are no trains from Manchester to Wrexham on a Sunday in time to start the workday. 

Car Sharing Meeting Point:

Quarry Bank Mill volunteers Carpark at 8:30 for a 10 am start.

Drive through the gate into the carpark and follow the road straight to the old carpark – at the T junction turn left and meet in the gravelled part of the carpark.

Facilities:

There may be access to toilets in the yard on arrival at Erddig if you park in the volunteer’s carpark by the entrance.  There are toilets at the house if you park in the main carpark.  

As with most sites you may be working several minutes’ walk from the carpark.
