Below are details of the worksite – but please check the weekly email as these may vary.
The Speke Estate is located next to Liverpool's "John Lennon" Airport and is a rare example of a Tudor manor house, situated on the banks of the river Mersey, this building has witnessed more than 400 years of turbulent history. Speke Hall is surrounded by gardens and woodland with seasonal displays of rhododendrons, daffodils and bluebells.

Type of work:
Like Quarry Bank Mill this is right next to an airport – Liverpool airport, so plane spotting is an option. The land is fairly flat and has a stream and pond running through it. We have pulled up balsam, mended paths, pulled ragwort out of hay fields, cleared vegetation from the pond.
Location:
The Walk, Speke, Liverpool, L24 1XD
Once in the vicinity follow brown tourism signs for Speke Hall.
